Hi, I’m Alexis! I love sharing yoga with children in a way that’s playful, creative, and heart-centered. In my classes, movement, imagination, and mindfulness come together to help kids build confidence, connection, and joy. I let my inner child shine as I guide young yogis through practices that feel like play, while weaving in meditation to give them tools for calm, focus, and inner peace.

As a certified kids’ yoga teacher with a background in elementary education and special needs education, I’m committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for every child—neurodiverse or neurotypical—to thrive. I can’t wait to share this joyful practice with your little one!

At ArtsyAsana, we offer an enriching education on ways to calm the central nervous system and regulate emotions. This helps with creating healthy relationships with oneself and others. Of course, we have a lot of fun with games, music, and mindful art projects. The focus is on bringing opportunities to develop the mind-body connection. We achieve this by practicing yoga poses, breath work, mindfulness, and meditation.

While an added benefit is in becoming more mindful through meditative tools, children also receive benefits from the physical poses. Yoga asanas (or poses) strengthen, stretch, and aid mobility. Whether your child is into sports or drawing, it’s important to keep them moving.

Allow us to assist you in supporting your kids to become more balanced and calm in a world where it is becoming increasingly necessary.

Loved by Kids, Trusted by Parents

Seriously! But don’t take our word for it, here are some things people have to say about us.

Alexis is the embodiment of love and light. She blends her extensive knowledge of yoga and early childhood education, seamlessly creating an engaging and creative practice for young yogis.

Alexis creates a beautiful and safe space for my child to explore the practice of yoga and herself. She loves that they perform yoga poses, but also sing, color and play. My child has taken things she has learned outside the class like quiet meditation using her fingers and the mantra ‘peace begins with me’

Meghan E., Little Yogi’s Mama

This class (Yoga Explorers: 6-Week Camp) has been so lovely. There seems to be a syllabus, and my daughter can convey what she’s learned and looks forward to class!
