Exploration, Play & and Confidence

Located in an open, safe and beautiful yoga studio near Old Northeast Neighborhood, this is a yoga class just for kids! The natural light shines through large windows and onto hanging vines and unique plants. This is the Treehouse Kids Club, a kids yoga class full of mindfulness and fun! We use tools and activities to understand the mind and body connection.

This practice opens up immense possibilities to cultivate self-love, self-regulation and emotional intelligence. There are mindful art projects, music, storytelling, dance and so much more! Parents are welcome to sit in for the first class and observe but this is a drop-off kids class.

What to Expect During Class

Small group instruction with structured curriculum to meet individual student needs

Young yogis will be in a class of no more than 12 students. Each day introduces a unique theme that is specific to the students’ interests and abilities.

First time students may bring a stuffed animal for comfort and parents welcome to observe

We want students to feel comfortable and have a good time. Students may also choose to welcome their parents to stay for their first class.

$20.00 drop in or $60 monthly membership or 4-class pack

This class is best suited for children aged 5-9. Parents are welcome to sit in for the first class and observe.

This weekly kids yoga class full of mindfulness and fun! A special space held to allow little minds to explore the mind and body connection.

    You first will need to create an account through The Collective Yoga Studio. You can do this using their website thecollectivestpete.com (The Pink Button) or downloading their app The Collective Wellness Club

    SIGN-UP FOR THE CLASS AS A GUEST

    This is important because you will not be able to sign up for yourself as you (The adult) are not taking the class. You will fill out the account information for yourself though.

  • A drop-in class is $20

    4-class packs are available for $60

    Monthly membership for $60

  • Shoes come off and they roll out their mats. What’s that smell? It’s stinky feet! Time for stinky feet spray (aromatherapy). Now pass the orange with your feet for a game of gratitude. (orange you grateful?) Kidding Around Yoga has been a big influence on our classes. There is, also, always a focus on meditation. We begin and end our classes with turning inward for true self-exploration. With fun, in many different forms, sprinkled in.

  • Yes, ArtsyAsana believes that these tools are priceless when becoming a more mindful human.

  • Parents may drop-off between 3:15 pm and 3:30 pm and pick-up between 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm

  • Yes, teachers are CPR certified

  • Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. A yoga mat if they have one but extras are always available in the studio.

    Students are offered the option to bring 1 stuffed animal to class, if desired :)

  • This class is best for children ages 5-9. When there is a mixed group of ages/abilities, the teacher offers modifications and/or challenges for the students to take. Warning to the older cool kids, classes usually include large amounts of playfulness and silliness.

  • Yes! Learning meditation leads to discussions about accepting emotions that come up during stillness. Noticing them is the first step, naming them is second and then one can begin to work on accepting.

    There is also opportunities to connect with other classmates with partner poses, group poses, games and group projects.

  • No snacks are permitted in the studio. If allergy to essential oil, teacher will seek out approved oils or refrain from using any at all.

  • Yes, parents are welcome to observe the student’s first class. We ask that they try not to distract the students during class.
